Artwork Assistant

**Role**:

- Prepare and issue detailed drawings for signage and installation packs for clients generate and issue paperwork in accordance with company procedures for installation
- Assist in the finishing of production works, including collation and packaging of works

Fundamental Requirements
- Potential VDU for long periods of time (with regular breaks) and sit down at a desk for long periods of time (with regular breaks)
- Ability to take and complete instructions via telephone calls from mobile workers
- To be proactive within the role
- Knowledge of the signage and graphic industry

**Main Duties**
- Produce drawings and instructions for manufacture and installation
- Proficient in signage / store drawings, Adobe, Illustrator, drop box
- Produce drawings for pre-tender work enquiries
- Design any customer components that may be necessary to complete installation
- Inspect finished works to ensure that they are correct to specification, as and when required and ensure that projects are completed to the agreed time scale and meet the business requirements
- Maintain notes and records including all design works in connection with each design task and will keep such records in a form to simplify their retrieval for future reference
- Identify any key draughting issues or problems and inform management if required
- Flexible and proactive in your approach to work and working hours
- Be available to work paid overtime as and when contracts / volume of work dictates
- Liaise with onsite installation personnel
- Work safely and follow company health & safety procedures and follow company environmental procedures and guidelines
- Follow client quality procedures to ensure all work is done to consistently high standards and follow Company policies and procedures. i.e., absence reporting, dress code, confidentiality, data protection etc

- Competitive Salary

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Graphic design: 1 year (preferred)
