Yard Supervisor

**About Us**:
We are the UK’s Leading plastic bottle recycling specialist based in Calverton with big ambitions to grow the company. We are currently looking for a Yard Supervisor to join an expanding company.

**Working hours**:

- Monday to Friday 45-50 hours per week
- Overtime available
- Weekend availability (as the business requires)

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading a team by setting daily tasks, providing all necessary training.
- Taking care of the day to day running of the yard/outside space.
- Ensuring you and your team are working in compliance with the company’s Health & Safety policies.
- Carrying out instructions handed down from Managers.
- Ensuring that high standards of quality are kept and comply with the Company’s Quality Policy.
- To make sure all relevant reports and paperwork are completed daily.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy site.
- Leading by example, in terms of timekeeping, attendance and visibility.
- Proactively being observant and highlighting any issues that arise with plant and machinery.
- Keeping transporting targets set by commercial management.
- Looking for continuous improvement.
- Data collection from inbound/outbound deliveries.
- Collating relevant evidence for cross boarder stock movement.
- Weighbridge operations.
- Implementation of safe traffic management disciplines and systems.
- Stock organisation disciplines and segregation.
- Ensuring correct quality/quantity of outbound materials are loaded as stipulated by commercial department.
- Safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Management of vehicle prestart check process.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
