Founded in 1882 our club house overlooks Royal Troon's Championship Course where the 152nd Open Championship is being held in 2024. We are a small club of around 350 members with our Club Secretary having responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Club, liaising with Food & Beverage Manager, Captain and Committee.
Essential Skills:
- Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills
- IT literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Professional and welcoming approach at all times when dealing with members and visitors
- Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Flexible approach to working hours with the ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance legislation
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of golf and its traditions
- Knowledge of Club Systems software
- Knowledge of Sage accounting software
Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 13:00
Friday: 08:30 - 16:00
