Commercial Pipefitter

Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a privately owned family business formed in 1947; a national M&E provider with an outstanding reputation for delivering excellent levels of service, who currently employ over 800 staff and have a turnover in excess of £160m.

We are currently recruiting a skilled commercial pipefitter for a permanent position to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking for a new challenge within a highly reputable business. The hours will be 8am until 4:30pm Monday to Friday with half an hour for lunch.

It is essential that applicants meet the below criteria in order to be considered:

- Commercial & Domestic ACS gas qualifications is desirable. (Purge and Testing)
- A qualification in welding pipework is a must.
- Able to work on iron, copper and plastic pipework, including general plumbing.
- A good knowledge of commercial HWS and DHWS pipework systems.
- A good knowledge of commercial and domestic plumbing.
- Able to replace or repair radiators and pipework, including draining and refilling, as required to ensure client expectations are met.
- Prior experience of working in schools, libraries, offices, and local authority buildings.
- Able to work on own initiative, with good problem-solving abilities.
- Presentable and able to communicate at all levels.
- Able to operate a tablet to produce paperwork and reports. (Training Given).
- Currently residing in the West midlands area.
- Agree to join out of hour’s rota as required.
- Agree to have enhanced DBS check.
- Full clean driving licence
