This post is situated in our Domestic Abuse Hub (DAH) and is part of a dynamic team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVAs).

We have a committed and knowledgeable team of professionals who strive to deliver the very best service to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. The Domestic Abuse Hub offer a whole family approach where appropriate, and ensures support is available by the right person at the right time, with a focus on risk management, safety and what matters to the family/individual.

We are advertising for a temporary CIDVA (Drive prison) within the Domestic Abuse Hub until 31/03/25, this is a 3 day post.

It is an exciting time to join this service as this is a new role within the Drive's pilot project in Swansea Prison. This project is an intervention programme for high-risk, high-harm domestic abuse perpetrators who are serving short custodial sentences at HMP Swansea. Your role will be to ensure that children and young people connected to the perpetrators are safeguarded and supported throughout this process, strengthening their voice with the recognition that they are victims in their own right.
