**Purpose**:

- Do you want to Head up our Design & UX team to help shape the future of a high growth digital consumer champion brand with huge global ambition in the automotive sector?
- We are looking for a super talented and experienced Head of Digital Design and UX to be “hands on” and own and run our design projects as we create a global ecosystem of new platforms, websites and digital services.
- Our Head of Digital Design and UX is required to plan, design and deliver our creative solutions, working closely with technical delivery teams to build and launch a series of brand-new ecommerce business to consumer (B2C) websites, new content and an ecosystem of impactful and effective multi-platform digital services within a cohesive visual and thematic style.
- The role will report to the Global CGO

**Accountabilities/Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the quality of all design and UX deliverables, producing fresh, innovative solutions that translates complex ideas into compelling digital experiences for our consumer audiences.
- Responsible for building, leading, nurturing and inspiring our creative design and ux department.
- Overseeing several projects with from start to finish, managing business priorities, keeping to deadlines, and with a high level of attention to detail.
- Responsible for the selection and onboarding and management of external design agencies, working closely with them to always deliver exceptional consumer led experieces
- The creative and brand guardian taking responsibility for the creative philosophy and the exceptional standard of output across all deliverables. (Deliverables will predominantly be for digital projects including website designs and assets, video design & production, advertising campaigns, social media campaigns etc)
- Continue to evolve and champion the creative vision, setting the expectation at the highest level.
- Liaising with internal and external partners and teams to ensure smooth project and outcome delivery.

**Knowledge, Skills, DNA and Experience**:

- Extensive demonstrated experience of being “hands on” across a range of ecommerce b2c design projects driving the end to end design process and closely supporting the build and delivery process.
- You will be leading a cross-functional design / ux team which can include internal and external resources of graphic designers, copywriters, UX / interactive designers, photographers / videographers and video editors
- Creative and entrepreneurial thinker who can make decisions quickly.
- You obsess about how potential consumers interact with a brand, product or service.
- A deep understanding of the best practices and standards in User Experience design methodologies and processes
- Working at the cutting edge of new technology you will be expected to grasp changes in technical innovation across multiple platforms.
- A great storyteller with impressive abilities pitching / selling in creative concepts to clients, partners, and company stakeholders, as well as communicating ideas and creating concepts for other team members.
- A self-starting attitude, with resilience under pressure and against deadlines
- Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with partners and peers.
- Management of costs, and development budgets.
- Extensive experience of using data and analytics for design
- Analytical and insightful attention to detail
- Organized and efficient multi-tasker
- Experience in the automotive industry not necessary but a passion or interest in cars and the world of automotive would stand you in good stead.
