Position Overview:
Responsibilities.
- Control access to the site/building permitting only authorised personnel.
- Using the Access Control System and CCTV, monitor/manage activity on site and in the immediate vicinity.
- Perform patrols of the site and building
- Perform daily checks of alarm systems and system health.
- Monitor and respond to on-site alarm systems.
- Provide a visitor reception service.
- Provide cover for other members of the security team as required.
- Perform random entry and exit searches.
- Deter and detect unauthorised entry to site.
- Detect and deter any damage/vandalism and report as necessary.
- Where necessary, deal with suspect packages in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Provide security services across two sites.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks/responsibilities as directed/required by line management.
- Be flexible and adaptive to providing cover/support for absent colleagues

What we are looking for:

- Previous experience in the security field is useful but not essential
- SIA Licence holder and CCTV trained
- Good Communication skills
- IT Literate
- Customer focused approach
