E-roster Coordinator

The Pharmacy Department is looking for an experienced individual with excellent computer, administrative and communication skills who works well as a member of a team whilst being able to use their own initiative. This role is an exciting new addition to the structure within Pharmacy and will be a chance to work across the service and engage with staff at all levels.
You will provide administrative support for the day-to-day administration of rotas for the department’s pharmacists and technicians. The post holder will ensure relevant spreadsheets are kept up to date flagging up any rota issues with the Pharmacy Senior Leadership team.
The post holder will support the provision of quality rosters ensuring they are safe, cost effective and efficient. They will ensure rosters are prepared to ensure pay-roll is run on time with accurate information.
The post holder will co-ordinate the recording of all authorised annual / study and lieu leave requests ensuring safe staffing levels for each area are maintained. They will ensure that staff details are accurately maintained on the e-rostering system by liaising confidently and effectively with pharmacy clinical staff, managers and HR.
To be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and maintenance of the pharmacy staff rotas, ensuring that safe clinical cover is maintained at all times, clinical sessions are staffed appropriately and that all staff are fulfilling contracted hours.
Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Leadership Team, the post holder will support the provision of high-quality patient care by assisting the team to ensure the Pharmacy rotas are fully covered across the Pharmacy department at both Hinchingbrooke and Peterborough. This will involve liaison with the relevant leads, along with the Trust Flexible Staffing Office.
As the key rota contact for the pharmacy, it is imperative to have an oversight of a daily overview of the rota’s, anticipate problems and support the team to resolve these. Early escalation to the Pharmacy Leadership Team is vital. Personnel are at the centre of the role therefore strong communication skills are key.
