An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team as a **Peripatetic Support Worker** across our homes in Eastbourne. The homes specialise in person-centred care for people with learning difficulties and autism. Every day is different and you will be out and about attending social events, playing football and keeping active with the individuals. You may find yourself going bowling, or to the theatre, visiting a stately home or cathedral, and even going to a local pub for open mic night.

As a peripatetic support worker you will be a valuable and flexible resource working in a number of our homes. This means every day is different and provides prospects for personal growth and development.

**_ We request that you have your own transportation for this role, as you will be required to work across multiple sites._**

We are looking for people **who have experience** of working in a similar environment. You must be prepared to work flexibly in a variety of locations. You will be a great addition to the team if you enjoy working and interacting with people, have the right personality and share the same values as us. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, effective communicators, with high standards of care, and who are sensitive to the needs of people with learning disabilities.

The role follows a varied shift pattern including weekdays and weekends; a flexible approach to work is essential. You may be required to work sleep-in shifts, for which we pay **£50 extra** per night. We are looking to fill roles for either:

- part-time Support Worker (21 hours per week)
- or full-time Support Worker (37 hours per week)
- or Senior Support Worker full-time (40 hours per week)
