Ipaf Operator

Semi Skilled Rigger / Erector, Skilled Labourer and/or Semi-Skilled Fitter required with Scissor Lift / Cherry Picker / MEWP / PAL / IPAF licence to drive category 3a and 3b vehicles on clients site. You should be willing and able to carry out skilled labouring / semi-skilled mechanical fitting using hand tools to assemble components on the ground and at heights. (This is not just a plant driving role)

**Duration**

Ongoing temporary / contract work throughout the year which will probably lead to permanent employment at a later date. Perm positions also available at Lead-Hand level. Often working away from home within a team Mon-Fri starting out from the client's central base near Uttoxeter each Monday morning and returning on Friday afternoon. Hotel Accommodation and breakfast is provided and paid for by employer.

**Role**

Reporting to the Site Manager / Installation Team Leader and working as part of the site team, you will be responsible for assisting with the erecting of structural steel work / steel framework including: drilling, fixing and working at heights.

**Applicant**

Qualifications must include CSCS card and IPAF 3a & 3b

You should be experienced in assembly of steel framework, rigging, erecting, steel fixing and competent at reading general arrangement drawings.

**Rates**

Rate = £17.00 per hr based on an 8 hour day depending on experience and qualifications.
