As a Barclays Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for driving value through appropriate Risk Management of relevant credit risk analytics and strategies for the Mortgage portfolios allocated (Residential, Buy to Let). **What will you be doing?**:

- Providing best in class analytics, and transforming high level requests into focused and specific analysis
- Being responsible for monthly BAU reporting and control activity
- Working effectively with peers and management team to achieve shared business objectives
- Presenting and communicating results to Senior Management and driving stakeholder discussions
- Contributing to business development activities
- Identing new opportunities for enhancing/ streamlining services
- Formulating opportunities into proposals, and sharing with the manager and implement
**What we're looking for**:

- Degree in Mathematics or related analytical discipline, with a highly rational, logical thought process and solid attention to detail
- Comprehensive knowledge and effective use of analytical tool such as SAS, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential, knowledge of SQL and/ or Python
- Ability to generate insights from data, assess the commercial/ financial impact and recommend action, ability to solve analytical problems and deliver accurate results
- Interpersonal skills, both verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate insight into a coherent story
**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Extensive experience analyzing programmes through the lens of P&L and customer metrics
- Familiarity with segmentation tools and strategies
- Industry knowledge (ideally experience with major international financial services firm)
- Ability to understand and deal with competing priorities
