The Access and Safeguarding Team cover the whole of the Middlesbrough area. The service is very keen to promote flexible working for all staff. This includes agile working at home as well as other Middlesbrough Council bases.
The Access Safeguarding Team works with adults over 18 who have a range of short term and long term needs for example physical or mental health needs; substance use; domestic abuse and homelessness. As part of the initial assessment process we are committed to promoting independence, offering information, advice and guidance and providing short term interventions such as reablement, where possible.
Due to the varied nature of the team we are therefore looking for a social care worker who is adaptable and is able to work with a varied caseload.

We will support you by providing regular supervision and access to training.
