Required from September 2023, Solihull Music is seeking experienced and inclusive music tutors to deliver face to face, high quality instrumental lessons across the borough in Solihull education settings. We are looking recruit tutors in the following disciplines: SEND, Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Drums, Upper and Lower Strings.

Solihull Music is expanding and we are looking for a number of Music Tutors to join our team. Whether you have experience teaching small groups or 1:1 lessons, we currently have vacancies at Band D level, available on a Fixed Term contract.

We are also looking to offer developmental opportunities for tutors who wish to expand their skills in areas such as curriculum, Whole class, Ensembles or SEND.

Working for our unique and friendly service you will teach beginners as well as the more experienced players within schools and in the evening. There are also opportunities to be involved with extra-curricular groups, holiday clubs and to teach whole class groups.

As one of our Music Tutors, you will provide inspirational, wide-ranging music experiences supporting pathways for all children and young people in Solihull to reach their full musical potential.

To be considered for this post you will have:

- A Level Music or Music Grade 8 (or equivalent) or will be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and ability gained through extended experience
- Experience working with small groups as well as 1:1 tutoring within a school environment
- The ability to perform and inspire on at least one principal instrument to a high standard
- An ability to motivate and inspire through your own musical ability.
