Production Support/Maintenance Operative Required Milton Keynes, Immediate Start Available

Proactive are currently recruiting for Production Support/Maintenance Operative to work for a manufacturing company based in the Loughton area of Milton Keynes

**Your daily duties will include**:

- Complete weekly tasks for maintenance activities.
- Work to Keep Trak maintenance schedule, update and review preventative maintenance status.
- Prioritise urgent maintenance requests within current workload.
- Carry-out maintenance tasks dependent on approved skill level.
- Co-ordinate outside contractors (pending Operations Director's approval).
- Working with the Manufacturing Engineering Department, you will be cut and assemble production tooling: Jigs and fixtures, and hotwire tooling.
- Test tooling and modify with Manufacturing Engineering support.
- Highlight problem areas to management as required.
- Support production when overloaded or low work load.

**To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience**:

- Previous experience / qualifications in manufacturing/engineering or maintenance
- Good working within a team and on your own initiative
- Good attention to detail in order to understand and correctly follow processes
- Good communication skills
- Have good time keeping skills
- Posses a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Be professional and approachable

**More about the role**:

- Hours - Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm Friday 7.30am-1.00pm
- Rate - £12.00 - £13.50 per hour
- Start date: ASAP following interview process Duration: Full-Time ongoing assignment with view to permanent contract
