Job Title: Supply Chain Assistant

Department: Demand Planning

Reports to: Procurement Manager

Purpose of the Job:
To effectively manage past due deliveries from all suppliers across the 3 categories, ensuring overdue orders are kept to a minimum.
Pro-actively monitor suppliers past due values and associated contribution and report this to the business. This includes past due values by category and supplier and more importantly updating the ERP system with the latest delivery dates for past due deliveries.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that Non-Conforming deliveries are dealt with quickly and efficiently, ensuring timely payment of invoices and a smoother customer experience.

**Main Duties/Responsibilities and Knowledge/Skills Requirements**

**Key Duties**:

- Daily reporting of past due deliveries by supplier, PO value and associated contribution, and reporting of this to the business each day
- Contact suppliers to confirm availability/delivery dates for overdue items and update the ERP system
- Ensure that all deliveries due the following day are booked in to the Goods In Diary, and chase any suppliers that haven’t booked in
- Chase deliveries that were booked in with Goods In and not delivered
- Attend relevant meetings with Vendor, Demand Planning and Category teams and act upon any actions required
- Compile weekly reports for overdue PO lines and temporarily unavailable products
- Process all NCR’s that are raised by Goods In, ensuring they are processed correctly and closed within 10 working days while communicating each stage with the relevant Demand Planner and any other departments impacted by the NCR
- Assist the Demand Planning team as required and directed by line manager

**Technical Skills / Qualifications**
- MS Office including Excel and Word intermediate level
- Enthusiastic, positive and a self-driven individual
- Experience of working with suppliers in a confident manner desirable
- Excellent communication skills cross functionally
- Attention to detail, methodical and able to work under own initiative
- Experience in SAP desirable but not essential
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
