Seasonal Gardener

The Clinical Support Department requires seasonal gardeners with gardening skills to maintain and ensure the grounds within hospitals, clinics, health centres and office accommodation within NHS Ayrshire & Arran are attractive and environmentally safe including all winter contingency planning tasks ie gritting/salt spreading, snow clearing etc.

**Clean driving license is essential, along with the qualification on license that allows for Trailer Driving.**

**PA1 / PA6 Safe use of Pesticides, Weed Spraying certification is essential.**

Experience in general gardening, horticulture, care and maintenance of grounds is desirable but full training will be given.

Other duties would include Portering & Waste Management tasks when required. You will be based at Ailsa Hospital. Health Board Vehicle provided at all sites. Uniform and Safety shoes provided.

This position is Fixed Term for 6 months.

Out of hours duties may be required to cover winter contingencies.

**Hours of Duty : 37.5 Hrs per week, Monday - Friday 7.00am - 3.00pm
