Credit Controller

I am delighted to be partnering with a market leading business and well-known brand based on the north Suffolk coast seeking to recruit a Credit Controller on a contract basis in a key role to provide a credit control function in line with company valuesand Customer Service policy, ensuring that the financial position of the company is safeguarded, and credit risk minimised.

Key responsibilities will include:

- To maximise cash flow through the efficient collection of all accounts in line with Credit Control procedures.
- Assist in ensuring continual reduction of debtor days in accordance with the targets set by the Credit Control Manager.
- Ensure full knowledge of all accounts at any time on designated sales ledger.
- Ensure customer diary is maintained on each customer account.
- Ownership of query resolution to ensure payment terms not exceeded and customer service not jeopardised.
- Manage the calculation of credits due and monitor through the process to posting on the customer account and reconciliation of account as required.
- To carry out necessary credit checks on potential new customers and obtain the necessary references and security to reduce the risk of exposure to bad debts.
- Ensure customer discounts are maintained and applied in accordance with negotiations between customer and business development managers.

This role offers hybrid working - two days office based.
