Brooklands is on a mission to carefully hire a Sales Estimator who will take on an important role to secure and develop new customer relationships and contracts.

Brooklands is looking for somebody with experience and confidence in selling services (ideally cleaning) who can be a key player in driving growth and with the ability to grow professionally as the business develops.

**You will be responsible for**
- Generating leads and setting your own sales appointments / visiting customers and sites
- Converting golden prospects into customers
- Sending proposals and preparing quotations
- Developing and maximising new accounts for repeat buying customers

- Are willing carry out some industrial cleaning work on sites with the team to learn the technical side of the business so you are able to understand what is involved to be able to survey your own work and advise clients when preparing quotations
- Have experience/understanding in cleaning/facilities services so you can communicate effectively with prospects (as above, some experience can be gained on site)
- Have a sales back ground preferable in the services industry
- Have a can-do attitude and work well with others
- Are thorough and can be relied on to get things done
- Are organised and able to think ahead
- Have great communication skills and always keep people updated
- Are consistent and willing to go the extra mile
- Are professional in your dealings with others

Brooklands is based in Nottingham and has been trading for over 7 years. The company is rapidly expanding and undertakes industrial cleaning and facilities support services for national construction companies, councils, universities, schools, businesses and facilities management companies throughout the midlands and across the UK.

**Requirements for the role**
- Experience in selling within the cleaning / facilities management industry or within a similar service business (3 years minimum)
- The ability and willingness to make sales calls, visits and reach out on Linkedin
- Good computer skills including scheduling / CRM systems and excel
- Well spoken and written english with fantastic customer service skills
- Driving license, own transport and the ability to commute to Nottingham

You will be based in our offices and will be out on the road for part of the week attending sites and meeting clients / attending job surveys.

**Brooklands is not your average service provider**

The company provides a dynamic range of services some of which are very specialist. No two days are the same at Brooklands.

Our work is carried out via projects, reactive and emergency call outs and regular maintenance contracts so day to day our teams can be doing anything from hanging off a huge building to closing streets off and cleaning large spillages.

The office hours for this position is 8:00am until 4:30pm Monday to Friday however, this may vary depending on site/customer opening times.

Mostly, Brooklands are looking for somebody who is looking for progression and can be confident in their ability to learn enough about the business to become self-sufficient in the role. This in turn will add more value to Brooklands and will enable a higher salary.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
