**Salary**: 24496.00 - 25409.00

Local Government Reorganisation
Local Government in Cumbria has changed. The current six district councils and Cumbria County Council have now been replaced by two new unitary authorities - Westmorland and Furness Council and Cumberland Council.

About this opportunity
We are looking to recruit an experienced and successful administrator to provide top level business support to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Team and excellent customer service to families partners and other agencies.

Diploma in Trading Standards or Diploma in Consumer Affairs including Animal Health module or DCATS with 60 points (to include food and metrology).
At least 3 years' experience in Trading Standards and/or Animal Health and evidence of continuous professional development.
Proven experience and competence to undertake and lead complex investigations into criminal offences or unfair trading practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to a variety of different audiences.
Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
