**Painter/Laborer**

Carry out all painting and preparation duties to assist workshop personnel, ensuring smooth and effective running of all work scopes, in order to achieve MRDS® delivery targets.
- Support and ensure the smooth and effective running of all workshop projects/jobs.
- Assist technicians in the stripping, inspection and rebuilding of various mechanical equipment and associated components.
- Application of industrial finishes in line with customer/specification requirements.
- Maintain painting and coating equipment in a safe and usable condition, and in line with painting and coating regulations.
- Adapt to a variety of tasks which could include stripping, cleaning, and preparation of equipment.
- Maintain all associated paperwork and systems as required (MSDS and COSHH etc.).
- To assist in completion of work scopes and any additional paperwork in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all tooling and machinery are used and maintained in the appropriate manner.
- Reporting of any faulty equipment in the correct manner.
- Communicate regularly with Workshop personnel, as and when required.
- Perform housekeeping duties and maintain cleanliness of Workshop, yard, or work site.
- Always comply with Company & HS&E policies and procedures, contributing as required in Toolbox Talks etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£12.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aberdeen: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- painting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
