It's an exciting time at Sense, as we are now looking for a Female Team Leader in our Short Breaks Service located in Newtownabbey Northern Ireland. This is a permanent position working either 26 hours or 32 hours.
The short breaks service will be closed for the Christmas period, 23rd December to 2nd January.
Due to expansion of our Service, we have an exciting and unique opportunity to progress and/or develop your management experience in small high-quality person-centered service.
The role will be based in our 2-bedded Short Breaks Residential service, supporting adults with complex needs.
The high staffing ratios reflect Sense’s commitment to provide high quality services that meet the unique needs of the people we support. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead shifts, manage, support and mentor staff.
The role will include alternative weekends, with an additional £50.00 payment for a sleepover shift. Benefits

**This role in Newtownabbey might include**:
Support individuals / groups / teams within the home, center / community.
To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
Knowledge of multi sensory impairments / learning difficulties is beneficial.
Previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting - we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent Team Leader.

Please note, this role may include sleep-in shifts. (This means sleeping over at the residence, with the possibility you might have to wake up to provide care in the night.) Why work for Sense?
