**Warehouse Packer**

Scobie & Junor are looking for Warehouse packer at their East Kilbride facility, you will be responsible for preparing finished goods for shipping. Typically, a packer will be assigned to a specific area, receive the items needed from the order picker, check they are in good condition, wrap them securely and pack them for shipping
- Ensure items are undamaged
- Clean shipping containers
- Label items
- Pack items onto pallets for shipping
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
- Keeps products separated, organised and in good condition
- Monitors product quality reporting problems to mitigate quality issues
- Operates various pieces of equipment i.e., pallet truck and pallet wrapper
- Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned

You will work in a tidy and methodical manner and take pride in a high standard of accuracy. You will be required to work day shift 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, we would ask that you be flexible to the needs of the business and approach all tasks with a positive attitude. You should be a confident communicator and will be physically capable of bending and lifting orders/packages.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
