Executive Assistant - Energy - Permanent - Knutsford - Hybrid - £30-£35,000 salary
My Client is a leading provider of specialized services to the marine, oil and gas, and other high assurance industries worldwide.
Role
The Executive Assistant role will support the Product Line Director as well as providing support to the wider Senior Leadership Team.
The role is dynamic and varied with the principal purpose of providing efficient, effective and professional support including ensuring smooth operations and the optimisation of time management. This will involve a broad range of tasks to facilitate the day-to-day running of the business and the longer-term strategic planning activities.
Duties
The Executive Assistant has the following primary accountabilities:

- Manage the Director’s calendar, overseeing a complex calendar on a daily basis, resolving any scheduling issues
- Support the smooth preparation, completion and follow-up of any meetings, and off-site strategic meetings
- Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, and other documents in support of organisational objectives
- Arrange travel and accommodation, preparing expense reports as necessary
- Structure meetings to ensure focus on objectives and lessons learned.
- Take minutes of meetings, ensuring actions are followed up
- Screen incoming requests taking and delivering accurate messages responding to requests by gathering and providing information
- Assist in preparing and managing presentations
- Conserve the Managements time by reading, researching, collecting and analysing information as needed, in advance
- Complete ad hoc projects as assigned
- Monitor and support where necessary with training, induction process and HR related tasks
- Manage both incoming and outgoing correspondence (both written and verbal) as necessary
- Ad hoc support as requested by Senior Leadership Team
- Extensive related experience required in working as an Executive Assistant role
- Experience as a C-suite Executive - Desirable
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, building rapport with people at all levels in a confident, professional manner
- Organised and focused with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure to achieve time bound goals
- Experience in organising both domestic and international travel logistics
- Ability to handle high pressure, intense situations calmly
