**My Client is looking for an accounts assistant to join their busy accounts team. This is a fast paced role for someone who is hard working, focused and has a can do attitude. Main duties & responsibilities** **The Role**:

- Data input of purchase invoices, matching to the purchase order.
- Updating EDI invoices and sorting discrepancies.
- Dealing with purchase invoice queries, both with suppliers and across the branch network.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Payment and posting of proforma invoices.
- Assisting with incoming mail from branches and by post.
- Undertaking ad-hoc accounts and administration duties as required.

**You will need**:

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in processing high volume invoices
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of excel.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Work efficiently as part of a team.

Full training for the role will be provided.
- From 23 days annual leave (plus public/bank holidays) increased with length of service.

39.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (Monday to Thursday 8:30-5pm Friday 8:30 to 4:30pm)
