A leading specialist mechanical engineering company who has a great reputation in the industry for their experience, expertise and high level of workmanship are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineer who is a 'jack of all trades’ as you will be working on a range of industrial equipment ranging from (but not limited to); Roller doors, engines (boats, farming equipment etc.), lifting equipment, plant equipmentto industrial machines.

You will be undertaking a varied workload, where you could be undertaking repairs, servicing or breakdowns both in the workshop, onsite at customers’ premises or even call outs at sea / in the countryside.

It is a role that will use all your skills, experience and knowledge in Mechanical Engineering in order to fault find and repair to breakdown situations on both Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic equipment.

This role would suit applicants who are currently working as an Industrial Engineer, Service Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer or a similar position.

Due to the broad skills and experience of being able to fix anything they are the first port of call for many companies.

As an Industrial Engineer we are looking for the successful applicants to possess the following:

- Previous Mechanical & Electrical engineering experience
- Proven track of working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment
- Any relevant formal qualifications i.e. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience of carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
- Supervisory Management
- NEBOSH or similar H&S qualification is advantageous
- Full clean UK driving licence is essential for the role

**Hours**:42.5 hours per week, 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday (flexibility required due to nature of the business)
