The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) is the leading global professional membership organisation for chemical engineers and process engineers.

We are a multi-national institution with primary offices in the UK and Australia. Our members are found in a wide range of industry sectors, and at different stages of their careers, from students and graduates in training through to senior Fellows at the very highest levels of leadership in business and academia.

You will be educated to minimum GCSE English and Mathematics grades A to C and have worked for at least 2 years in a busy customer service environment. You must have a good to excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft packages and experience of SharePoint and Customer Relationship Management system D365 would be an advantage. Attention to detail and accuracy must be second nature to you and you should be confident in communicating at all levels of seniority. You must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Core responsibilities of the role include:

- Deal with all Accredited Company Training Schemes (ACTS) enquiries and make all the necessary arrangements for the (re-)accreditation visits
- Liaise with the external ACTS managers and maintain an accurate and fit for purpose electronic accreditation filing system ensuring all key documents are filed for each visit.
- Raise invoices / POs when this is required
- Facilitating changes to Initial Professional Development (IPD) guidance - as and when required - and ensuring that the latest version is available on the IChemE website.
- To administer workshop or training events related to IPD or ACTS
- Provide backup for the second IPD assessor role as required
- Responding accurately and efficiently to IPD and general membership enquiries within agreed timeframes
- Liaising with members of the Professional Formation Forum (PFF) and senior volunteers who assist with accreditation and membership review activities - ensure that PFF is consulted as appropriate on any major issues/changes related to PFF
- Representation at PFF meetings as required.

Due to IChemE’s international nature, this position requires a willingness to work flexibly and to engage in business discussions outside of normal working hours.

This is a part time role based on 30 hours per week Monday to Friday to cover a period of maternity leave.

The normal place of work will be split between our Rugby office and your home address. The post-holder will be expected to work remotely and attend the office on average once a week. There will be times when you are required to attend the workplace on remote working days as and when IChemE reasonably requires. IChemE reserves the right to vary this working arrangement at reasonable notice.

**Interviews are likely to take place on Tuesday 10 January 2023 (afternoon) or Wednesday 11 January 2023.**
