**Project Overview**:
Alchemy Arts is very excited to be launching the Rising Stars Project, a drama workshop initiative designed to inspire and empower young Pakistani girls (13-19) in Oldham through Performing Arts. This project aims to build confidence, self-esteem, and creative expression among its participants enabling them to have a voice on matters that are important to them.

Key Project Outcomes:

- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of 12 drama workshops, ensuring they are participatory, engaging and meet project objectives.
- Maintain high engagement and consistent attendance throughout the program.
- Increase self esteem, self confidence and self awareness of participants
- Deliver a final performance or showcase (if applicable) as a culmination of the workshops.
- Produce a comprehensive evaluation report with feedback and recommendations for the project's continuation and improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Session Planning: Develop a comprehensive curriculum for the 12-session drama program, ensuring content is engaging, age-appropriate, and aligns with the objectives of the Rising Stars Project.
- Session Delivery: Facilitate 3-hour drama workshops, creating a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment for all participants.
- Participant Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere, encouraging participation and personal growth among the young attendees.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Gather feedback from participants to assess the impact of the workshops and implement improvements where necessary.
- Reporting: Compile and submit session reports, including attendance, participant progress, and session evaluation, to Alchemy Arts management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Alchemy Arts staff and volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the program and to enhance its outreach and impact.

Essential Criteria for this role:

- Experience: Proven track record in facilitating drama or performing arts workshops, particularly with children or young adults.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong foundation in project management, with ability to successfully manage initiatives from conception to completion
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of drama education techniques and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of participants with varying levels of experience.
- Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications or training in drama, theatre, performing arts education, or a related field.
- Personal Qualities: Creative, empathetic, and energetic, with a genuine passion for using drama as a tool for empowerment and social change.
- Proficiency in ICT, including Microsoft Word and Excel, for project administration and reporting.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Cultural Competency: Experience working with Pakistani or broader South Asian communities and an understanding of the cultural sensitivities involved.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate in community languages, such as Urdu or Punjabi, would be highly advantageous.
