**Job Summary**:
As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in our clinic's success by providing expert phlebotomy services and supporting the nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of service provision, adhering to policies and procedures, and ensuring the confidentiality and dignity of our patients at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with registered nursing staff to assess couples' needs and implement basic care with their guidance.
- Undertake core clinical activities to ensure patient comfort, privacy, and dignity during procedures like oocyte retrievals, cyst aspirations, and surgical retrieval of sperm, with collaboration from a registered nurse or midwife.
- Evaluate and re-assess patient care alongside a registered nurse or midwife to maintain the highest standard of care.
- Maintain accurate and legally substantive records of care, following HFEA code of Practice, CQC, and data protection regulations.
- Act professionally and promptly report relevant information to the nurse/midwife in charge regarding patients' conditions and any untoward incidents.
- Assist in emergencies by coordinating with the multidisciplinary team and fetching necessary equipment.
- Keep the clinic area clean, tidy, and well-stocked, adhering to Company policies and nursing guidelines.
- Take routine blood samples as directed by the nursing team.
- Work with the management team to collect and prepare data for audits and reports.

**Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience**:

- Good standard of education with NVQ level 2 qualification.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills and evidence of post basic training.
- Strong time management skills and experience working in a team.
- Proficiency in IT and computer skills.

**Personal Disposition**:

- Hardworking and flexible.
- Demonstrate compassion.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and exhibit maturity and self-awareness.
- Show initiative while working within recognized parameters.
