Calibre Search are looking for a Contract Asset Surveyor based in Northern Ireland to work with a well-respected environmental engineering company
In this role as an Asset Surveyor, you will undertake asset inspections of infrastructure across Northern Ireland including flood defence systems, coastal defence systems, and river culverts. You will be required to complete public safety risk assessments andinitial needs assessments by capturing data and assessing hazards with consistency and reliability. This data will then be uploaded onto a Common Data Environment. The deliverables will assist in future management and maintenance of the assets and to ensurehazards are mitigated against.
Previous experience working as an Asset Surveyor would be advantageous, however this role would be excellent for a motivated and committed individual who is looking to start their career in Asset Surveying. Ample training for the methods of data capture, theprocedures to be followed, and the standards required to be met will be provided at the beginning of the project.
This role will be part site-based and part home-based, with each individual offered flexibility about when they work at site and at home.
You will be provided with a laptop and iPad. A hire vehicle can also be provided and direct fuel costs can then be claimed back on expenses.
Essential:

- Full UK or Irish driving licence
- A willingness to work outside in all weather
- An eye for detail
Desirable:

- Access to own car (hire car can alternatively be provided)
- Prior field work experience
- Prior experience working as an Asset Surveyor/ Asset Inspector
This role will be a fixed term contract of 9 months and is available ASAP.
Hourly rate will be £16/h inside IR35.
