Honister Slate Mine is the last working slate mine in England. We work in the specialized sector of high-end residential and commercial stone projects. We have a large retail shop with smaller slate items. Honister Slate Mine are looking for a responsible person who is self motivated.
Using hand and power tools to shape, trim, cut stones and polish slate
Experience with slate and/or wood is a bonus
Working as a team and self-manageable
Full time position and weekends, pay depends on your experience
Can work under pressure
A valid UK driving licence held for three years and more.
**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
