Interaction has partnered up with a well-established global agricultural service based in Peterborough. My client is looking for skilled fitters to join the team. This is a workshop-based position, performing maintenance and repairs from heavy goods vehicles,plant equipment, and agricultural machinery. This is a great for someone with a background in heavy goods, ex - military or plant engineering.
*Trainee Position available at lower rate - No qualifications needed, just the right attitude and a full UK driving licence*
The Role:

- Service, maintain and repair a range of agricultural machinery, mainly crop sprayers
- Carry out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on all makes of heavy agricultural machinery
- Both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance (Fault finding, planned maintenance)
- Working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Ensure work is completed and relevant compliance is filled out (job cards, service sheets, etc)
- Complete MOT Prep ensuring the vehicles are road safe
- Work as a team to complete inspections
- Follow Health and Safety to comply with legislation and company procedures
- Hold relevant qualifications - NVQ Level 3 or equivalents (HGV Mechanics, agricultural, heavy plant)
- Minimum 2 years working in a similar position
- A full UK driving license must be held
- The ability to work using your own initiative and as a team
- A keen eye for detail
