Halton Borough Councils Finance Department is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic motivated and conscientious team player to the role of Revenues Officer.
The Council Tax department collects over £70m of Council Tax on annual basis which helps fund a wide range of services. The ideal applicant will help support the dedicated team to undertake work concerning the billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax, delivering a professional and exceptional service to the public.
**_ _**Your main role will be to process amendments to the Revenues systems, including changes in liability, discounts, premiums and exemptions and direct debit/instalment requirements, new properties, provisional bandings and disablement reductions and deal with enquiries from taxpayers concerning liability and recovery queries.
