**Food Technician - North Birmingham**

REED Education is currently working with a secondary school based in the North of Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Food Technician to join them ASAP. The school an OFSTED rated Outstanding school is one of the most sought after schools in Birmingham,their mission is to promote a culture of educational excellence where discipline mutual care and respect extends beyond the school and into the wider community. The school is celebrating exceptional GCSE results, 90% of pupils were awarded with grades 9-4in English and Maths.

The school are looking to appoint a food technician, who will support the delivery of Food Technology lessons. Some of the day to day duties will include, preparation of teaching materials, tidying up of classroom and washing up equipment’s, ordering ofmaterials. This is a role where no two days will be the same.
- Have working knowledge of health and safety regulations and COSHH
- Excellent, numerical, written and oral communication skills
- Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to for a new enhanced check.
