iC2 CCTV are experts in integrated security solutions.

iC2 has a track record of delivering security systems consultancy, design and installation services that support some of the world’s leading businesses. They are looking for a couple of apprentices to bolster their engineering team.

Day to day jobs will include initially working with an Engineer/Mentor out on site in customers properties. You will learn how to maintain, install, repair and design secuirty systems, which include elements such as intruder alarms or CCTV.

Apprentices will work on Security systemse and grow to become a multi disciplined engineer by the end of the 3 year apprenticeship.

Each day can be different depending on the client and jobs that are to be completed

- You will need to be able to take instructions and act within a timely manner
- High level of customer service skills required - polite, professional and respectful is a must
- Physically fit, due to the nature of the job

Training to be provided

Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release (one week in every eight weeks), the closest training centre for this vacancy is in Watford.

You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.

You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.

The employer will mentor and coach you on the job.

Things to consider

The apprenticeship is 36 months and therefore, full commitment is required.

Working hours are generally 9am - 5pm, but this may vary depending on the clients needs.
