A great opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic **Dental Decontamination Lead **to join our busy well established family run dental practice with **immediate start** based in **Huddersfield**. The role comes with a competitive salary of up to** £12.50 - £13.00 per hour,** **depending on experience.**

**Edgerton Dental Clinic **is a well established clinic serving patients from Huddersfield and across Yorkshire. We regularly invest in our state-of-the-art facilities and the ongoing training of our dentists and dental support team to ensure that our patient’s visits are as stress free as possible.

Our dental practice is housed in an imposing and fully refurbished listed Georgian building close to parking and easily accessible for visitors on foot or arriving by vehicle or public transport.

We take pride in offering a full range of high quality services including traditional family dentistry, children's dentistry, services for those patients with dental anxiety and a full range of cosmetic dentistry procedures.

The **Dental Decontamination Lead role**

The **Dental Decontamination Lead** role could be ideal for a qualified dental nurse seeking a new opportunity**.** Previous experience is desirable but not essential.

Hep B vaccination will be required.

**FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.**

**Key responsibilities as our Dental Decontamination Lead**:

- Preparing the environment cleaning instruments and machinery as appropriate in the decontamination room and dental surgeries.
- Providing fully sterilised equipment that is compliant to practice policies, procedures and the HTM01-05 guidelines. (which we’ll give you full training on)
- Selecting and using correct cleaning equipment for a range of routine and specialist tasks.
- Monitoring the general cleanliness of the practice throughout the working day, stocking up consumables as required.
- Communicating with colleagues, patients and visitors in a professional manner
- You will be responsible ensuring surgeries are supplied with sufficient clean/sterilised instruments.
- You will undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities
- You will accurately complete validation and Testing log books as directed and follow the ordering procedure to order new supplies as necessary.
