Following the successful award of a number of flagship contracts with water companies, we are offering their customers free water efficiency home visits to be carried out by a qualified plumber.

You may be recently qualified looking for a new role or someone with many years plumbing experience who wants something different to the norm; either way this is a great role that benefits customers enabling them to save water and money.

We know the customers love it because we have a 96% approval rating.

We plan all of jobs for you, all you have to do is turn up at the customers home and carry out the home water check, fit a range of products that we supply to help the customer save water, and fix any leaking taps, toilets or showers while you’re there.

All in all, together with our customers we’ll be aiming to be carbon zero, help our customers get there and importantly, reduce homeowner water use to a sustainable level of 15% less over the next 5 years.

**Job Summary**

You’ll be visiting customers who are known high water users.

We’ll expect you to be able to represent Aqualogic and the water company in a confident, professional and knowledgeable manner, while engaging and discussing water use across a range of areas from taps and showers to pools, hot tubs, irrigation and more.

You’ll be carrying out water efficiency checks within customer homes, discussing water use and personal habits, offering an instant assessment of in-home fittings (eg. taps, toilets, showers etc), measuring the flow rates and looking for leaks. Where necessary, you’ll be fitting products from our comprehensive range of water saving products and taking a meter read.

Plus, you’ll be inputting the vital data you’ve been taking into our MyWater App on your provided IT equipment.

On completion of the visit, using the App, you’ll be presenting the findings to the customer, you’ll explain how the products you’ve installed will save water and show how small changes in their usage behaviour can also be enormously beneficial.

Main Duties:

- Visiting domestic properties, liaising with home owners and occupants.
- Discussing water efficiency and the drivers behind it.
- Sharing tailored behaviour change messaging
- Providing water saving guidance and behavioural change advice.
- Survey and check of existing water fittings.
- Fitting the recommend water saving gadgets (basic installation)
- Ensuring the highest of customer care standards are met.
- Data inputting into MyWater app
- Deliver the best service in the industry (we have 96% satisfaction rating).
- Feeding back any learnings and improvement
- Occasional weekend work will be required

Qualifications:

- City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing NVQ
- National Water Hygiene ‘The Blue Card’ preferred although training will be provided
- Educational: GCSEs including Maths and English
- Full UK driving licence: essential (a company vehicle will be provided)
