**THE ROLE**

**Key responsibilities will include;**
- Manage a team of Pipeline Officers, Pipeline Craftsperson and Pipeline Damage Prevention Operatives
- Management of Cathodic Protection processes, administration, monitoring, records and reporting.
- Interacting with all Stakeholders on pipeline safety, including landowners, farmers, local authorities and 3rd party contractors.
- Management of 3rd party enquiries and plant protection requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with all PSSR & PSR requirements.
- Currently acting as or working towards being an Authorising Engineer on all required Permits to Work.
- Currently acting as or working towards being a Competent Person on all required Non-Routine Operations on the LTS network.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Excellent communication skills to ensure positive interactions are maintained with all stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the high-pressure pipeline network owned and operated by SGN.
- Proven track record on delivering high standards of work in a safety critical role.
- Capable of preparing detailed reports and delivering technical presentations.
- A flexible and positive attitude to work, self-motivated to deliver work to a high standard.
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and maps.
- Good understanding of procedures relevant to Pipelines, particularly; IGEM TD/1, SGN/PM/MAINT/5, SGN/PM/ECP/2 & SGN/WI/SW/2.
- Full driving license is essential.
- You will be expected to take part in the Maintenance standby as required._
