Job Title: Head of Sales (Grounds Maintenance ONLY)

Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm

**Salary**: Negotiable depending on experience PLUS Commission

Greenfingers is a leading Grounds Maintenance company in the UK with more than 25 years of experience. We have 9 depots and serve public and private customers in more than 2,000 sites from the Midlands to Newcastle.
Our clients range from Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Colleges to Private Retail, Industrial and Leisure Green Spaces. Attractive outdoor spaces create a good first impression for our customer, as well as being proven to help improve health and well-being.

What we do:
We undertake all types of Grounds Maintenance and Soft Landscaping work,
- Grass cutting
- Weeding
- Shrub maintenance
- Hedge cutting
- Litter picking

Job Role and Responsibilities:

- Leading, Developing and Managing day to day sales technique throughout the business, working alongside existing clients of high value contracts to retain their business whist suggesting additional services which we can offer to them
- Tap into your already established client book within the grounds maintenance industry to create open communication between their business and our business with the intention of acquiring them as new high value clients and customers
- Exclusively work on and lead the acquisition of high value contracts for the business (£300K plus) by using your contacts within the industry, your knowledge of areas of opportuity and your experience in sales expansion
- Understand and be confident in delivering a tried and tested sales experience and process to land lucrative contracts in a professional and ethical manner
- Work towards pressured KPI's surrounding generating high value business and contracts

Do you have the qualities we are looking for?
- Are you experienced in a similar role or have transferable skills
- Experience in Sales Management within the Grounds Maintenance industry
- A proven track record of successfully landing high value contracts within the grounds maintenance industry (£300K+)
- A confident, ethical and experienced approach to your sales technique
- An expansive book of contacts and connections within the grounds maintenance industry
