CNC Turner

I am looking to recruit CNC Turner - Setter/Operator, to set and operate Victor CNC Machines with Fanuc control systems.

**Main Duties**:

- Setting, and operate Victor CNC lathes.
- To hand Deburr and fettle detailed components
- Quality checking own work.
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments to offset coordinates.
- Read and understand technical engineering drawings.
- Be able to read understand CNC programmes, using machine interface
- Using our manufacturing system to be able to check material availability, part requirements, part routings and issue
- Operate within a 5s manufacturing cell environment

**Skills and Background**:

- Thorough experience in CNC machine tools turning.
- Must be a proactive team player, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Must be able to setup and operate CNC mill machines.
- Knowledge of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls.
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering apprenticeship
- City and guilds / NVQ's / National tech certificate engineering

Week 1 - 3 day shifts - Thurs - Sat - 6am - 6pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch break

Week 2 - 3 day shifts - Mon - Wed -6am - 6pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch break

Week 3 - 4 night shifts - Mon - Thurs -6pm - 6am with ½ hour unpaid lunch break

Pay - dependent on experience - 37,346 to 40,014
