Lewis Cleansing is on the lookout for a part-time Lunchtime Supervisor positioned at a School in Stourport-On-Severn, Worcestershire.

**Job Title**: Lunchtime Supervisor

**Location**:Stourport-On-Severn, Worcestershire.

**Hours**:Part-time - 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday (11:15AM - 13:15PM).

**Salary**:£11.50 per hour

The role of the Lunchtime Supervisor team is to provide supervision and support in the dining rooms during morning and lunch breaks, ensuring student safety, welfare and good conduct. Lunchtime Supervisors should have a flexible approach and a willingness to undertake a wide range of duties in the dining areas and around the school site.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- To ensure the welfare and safety of all students during break times.
- To supervise pupils in designated areas of the school during break times.
- To establish safe and appropriate behaviour by effective intervention or referral to school staff where required.
- Encourage students to behave responsibly with particular regard to collection of food, tidying up cutlery and utensils at the end of each session.
- To clear any spillages and wipe down, clear and reset tables, as appropriate.
- Ensure the dining environment is kept clean and tidy, particularly at the end of break times.
- Check, monitor and resolve health and welfare issues, and where necessary refer these to appropriate members of staff.
- Liaise with teaching staff to share information, concerns and issues regarding children to ensure that there is continuity in helping to solve any issues or problems throughout the school.
- To carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post, in accordance with the school’s Health and Safety Policy and relevant Health and Safety Guidance and Legislation.
- To promote the safeguarding of children.
- When required, assist with organisation of free school meals.
- Any other duties commensurate with the scale of the post as may be required under the direction of the line manager or the Principal.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to pass a DBS criminal record check
- Must pass a reference check
- Must work effectively in a school environment in a team and on your own
