**QA Analyst / Tester - Web & Digital Products**

Reporting to the Product Manager and working alongside our existing product team, web developers, you will help to ensure that our web and digital products delivers excellent usability, functionality and performance. The QA and testing process is a crucialpart of our product and development lifecycle, therefore giving opportunity within this role to make a direct and immediate impact on our business effectiveness and solutions.

Inchcape are a leader in the retailing of prestige brand cars in the UK. You’ll be involved in the development of a wide range of exciting greenfield projects and innovative solutions supporting the business’s goal towards online retailing & digital transformation.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Play the leading role in software quality improvement for customer facing websites, internal systems and digital solutions
- Identify and document the test scenarios for web site solutions produced by the team
- Write test plans and perform functional, standards and cross-browser compliance testing
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects both in development and port-release /post-implementation phases
- Identify and document all system errors
- Develop and Maintain a repository of system test plans and test cases (manual and automated)
- Review and analyse system specifications
- Ensure all development or set up work meets business and user expectations and quality standards
- Help and troubleshoot issues on the live environment
- Maintain an active knowledge of software testing tools, standards and processes
- Develop a wide understanding of Inchcape’s Web & Digital solutions, website systems from a non testing perspective
- Take ownership for and maintain user documentation for Inchcape’s Web & Digital’ core and bespoke website systems
- High level of IT literacy
- Ability to define test cases from functional requirements
- Expert in cross browser/environment testing and use of Browserstack
- Experience and working knowledge of specific tools and processes used in web and digital software testing and SQL
- Knowledge of web standards and technologies including accessibility compliance
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to "think outside of the box"
