- Point of contact for employee, manager and third-party queries
- Payroll system management
- Super user of payroll system including: support with the maintenance and set up of user defined payments, deductions, benefits and pension categories ensuring correct for Tax, NI & Costing; support with system integration with T&A and HR systems; continuousimprovement; maximise system functionality and relationship with vendor
- Periodic checks to ensure accurate data recorded, including employee benefits, salary & allowances, contract hours, pension arrangements, salary sacrifice schemes and employee personal information
- Project support for process improvement and system upgrades
- Tax reporting
- Assist with completion of statutory reports, to include: an annual review of all company expenses to prepare the PSA; collection/ review of data for preparation and submission of P60, P11D, TAS, STBV & Form 42
- Pension and benefits
- Ensure continued Pension compliance with auto enrolment
- Ensure accurate pension records are maintained in the payroll system and Pension portal
- Ensure payroll system is up to date with employee benefits: company car details, fuel arrangements, medical insurance and health cash plan
- Maintain annual rate changes for medical benefits in payroll system
- Administer salary sacrifice schemes, ensuring compliance with HMRC rules

Essential skills required -- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience of full monthly payroll system processes including balancing and closing the pay period
- Knowledge of employee benefits, including company car schemes, and fuel complexities
- Experience of working with large sets of data, data conversion, bulk system uploads, back dated pay awards
- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment and experience with Pension administration
- Intermediate level knowledge of Excel [Vlookups, Pivot tables]

Desirable skills -- CIPP qualified
- Manufacturing experience - shift patterns, overtime,
- Irish payroll
- Workday and or Cintra system experience
- Experience of payroll system maintenance: user access and security profiles, set-up and maintenance of user defined categories
