We're looking for a talented Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work for our client at their Leeds production facility, electrical and mechanical bias both considered.
The role will suit an analytical individual with strong technical fault-finding skills, interested in technology and materials and willing to research new methods for solving engineering issues.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday day shifts. You will also be included in a call out rota out of hours. Offering a salary of £32,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience with a range of benefits included, to be discussed at interview.
**The Role**
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you would play a key role as part of a team responsible for maintaining and developing the manufacturing plant and equipment using both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines. Work will include
- Diagnosis of plant/equipment defects, develop solutions
- Assisting with R & D projects to develop improved manufacturing plant and re-engineering.
- Hands on fabrication/assembly of equipment
- Actively contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across the site
In addition, you'll tick the following boxes
- NVQ / C&G or equivalent in mechanical engineering, apprentice trained
- Strong range of mechanical or electrical skills - fabrication, design, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs
- Previous experience working on reactive and PPM maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- CAD/CAM competency
