The Blaenau Gwent IAA (Adults) Team is a very busy and dynamic team which is currently supporting a number of exciting work streams across Health and Social Care. The team are looking to expand to ensure that these projects continue and to ensure that the citizens of Blaenau Gwent receive the best service possible.

The post-holder will take responsibility for providing support and advice to citizens and their families and carers that promote their independence and healthy lifestyles, preventing social isolation and increasing wellbeing.

Knowledge of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 is essential and experience of carrying our strengths-based assessments would be beneficial. The successful applicant would have experience of working in a preventative arena and will be eager to learn new skills and embrace development opportunities. The successful applicant will be expected to work across a number of different sites as the needs of the service dictates.
