**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has come about for an experienced and enthusiastic software engineering manager looking to join a successful scale-up company that have outgrown their own plans The innovative cloud based SaaS company are offering an opportunityfor the engineering manager to collaborate with other key stakeholders managing 10+ skilful software engineers. You will have the opportunity to influence the technical direction of the company, driving and improving their already impressive sales performance.

Their software is at the heart of their success and you will play a pivotal part in continuing this growth and adding new successful greenfield projects to their product suite. You have the authority to implement new technologies and methodologies, collaboratingwith other engineering managers and board level members. You will be well organised, confident and have the ability to work with multiple IT professionals at different levels.

**Role Requirements**
- Strong experience leading a team of engineers whilst collaborating with other technical staff
- Line and people management experience, including conducting 1:1s
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong knowledge of working in a cloud environment
- Being able to adapt to various situations and problem-solve accordingly
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft stack

**Desirables**
- SaaS and Agile background
- Ability to manage at multiple levels from junior software engineer up to liaising with board level members

They are operating a hybrid WFH system with 3 days in office, 2 days WFH.
