The role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Import Coordinator to join our team.

We are looking for a coordinator who is well organised, with strong attention to detail and great communication skills.

Salary
Competitive dependent on experience

Where will you be working?
You will be based at our offices in Southampton

What will be your key responsibilities?
Working in accordance with client SOP’s to ensure that KPI’s are recorded, reviewed, and met.
Accurate and timely completion of all relevant documentation e.g., customs declarations, shipping documents.
Ensuring that the operational finances are accurately completed and to agreed timescales in line with company/client KPI’s
To ensure all transport/warehouse related matters are planned in accordance with the import/export procedures
Ensure all queries/issues are acted upon and responded to immediately and where necessary escalated
Adherence to Security and all regulatory bodies requirements
Monitor and updating operational systems to ensure accurate records and client visibility
Generating and acting upon/issuing reports to meet operational and client requirements
Raising non-conformances when required
Undertake any other duties commensurate to the post as may be reasonably required

What we’re looking for:
You will have your GCSE Maths and English Level 4 (Grade C) and above
Experience in freight forwarding
You will have excellent communication skills, spoken and written
Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers
Excellent attention to detail, friendly and helpful nature
Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
Able to handle difficult situations.
Proven ability to work on own initiative.
Strong PC Literacy including Word & Excel
