Qualified Social Workers required for work within the LAC in Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity with excellent rates. Pay rate up to £38.14ph. 3 month contract but likely reviewed.

**The main duties of the post holder will be**:

- Working alongside a multi-agency team of professionals, in partnership with families.
- To use the Signs of Safety approach to underpin social work practice
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective systems to ensure quality services.
- Complete Wellbeing Assessments, child protection enquiry and develop and review care and support plans.
- Working in a multiagency capacity to support families
- Attendance at Child Protection Conferences, Children who are Looked After Review and Court may be required.
- Provide specialist advice and support across the wider children's services team in respect to children with additional needs.
- Participate in the team duty rota.
- Participate in regular team meetings.
- Demonstrate a high level of good quality written and verbal practice.
- Provide peer support to newly qualified social workers.

You will be Care council for Wales registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
