Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant. As a 2:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with educators to support a child in their learning and development. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for working with children, especially those with autism or special education needs.

**Duties**:

- Provide one-on-one support with a child with challenging behavior, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support in their social and emotional development
- Assist in managing behavior and implementing behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians
- Assist with field trips, outings, and extracurricular activities

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special education needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children succeed
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and responsibilities

INDTA

Pay: £85.00-£90.00 per day
