Accounts/office Administrator

County Tyres is a Company within The Malvern Tyre Group which is a family run tyre retailer and wholesaler with over 80 locations spread throughout the UK. Due to anticipated growth, we have an opportunity for an Accounts Office Administrator to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Bristol.
- **The Role - Immediate Start Available**_
Experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Sales ledger - process sales ledger entries accurately & efficiently
- Purchase ledger - ensure all GIN/GRN invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with finance policies and procedures
- Liaise with suppliers and other areas of the business by investigating and resolving price and quantity queries accurately and in a timely manner;
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Maintaining accounting documents and records, ensuring all files are up to date.
- Posting of Payments Book
- Maintain relationships within the Business with customers and internal departments
- Resolving discrepancies
Any ad-hoc, day to day requests supporting the Accounts department.
- **The Person**_
- Computer literate including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Excellent data entry skills - fast and accurate;
- Strong organisational and prioritising skills;
- Ability to use own initiative and work well under pressure;
- Polite telephone manner, as the Head Office is the first point of contact for the Group;
- Proficient with photocopying, scanning, faxing, printing, filing and other general admin tasks;
- Reliable with a can-do attitude;
- Ability to work well as part of a team;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Must be flexible in approach to the work as priorities change;
- Ability to work well as part of a team;
- Confident and personable;
- A fast learner with excellent attention to detail;
- An understanding of confidentiality;
- Immediate start available
