**Who are we looking for?**

**What will you do?**

You will get in volved with planning and coordinating transportation routes, schedules, and assignments to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records of transportation activities, including shipments, deliveries, and driver logs.
- Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure effective communication and resolve any transportation-related issues or inquiries promptly.
- Stay updated and ensure adherence to transportation regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain transportation documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and reports to track performance metrics and support accounting processes.
- Assist in monitoring and coordinating maintenance schedules for vehicles, ensuring they are roadworthy and compliant with regulations.
- Identify and address logístical challenges, delays, or disruptions in transportation operations, implementing solutions to minimize their impact.

**What do you need?**

You will need to be a strong character with a flair for organisation, multitasking and problem solving.
- Proficiency in using transportation management software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards in the UK.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a team-oriented mindset.
- 5 GCSE A-C (4+) is required. Additional certifications or qualifications related to logistics or transportation management are advantageous.
